Another Fabulous Week at In-Sync Exotics!

Another fabulous week of reporting on In-Sync happenings comes to a close!  Let's recap this weeks' postings, shall we?

We started off Monday's posting with a question -- What do get when you mix about 30 animal-loving volunteers with tents and tigers?  Answer -- A really fun camp-out at In-Sync Exotics, of course!  Click here to read all about our special camp-out under the stars and to the the "soothing" sounds of our lions roaring together throughout the night!

We also provided an update on Franklin, our frisky feline!  Great news!  Our vet has cleared Franklin, so he can now resume his normal activities--sleeping and chasing bugs!

On Tuesday, we presented a humorous video of a few of our tigers splish-splashing in their tubs and pools!  If you haven't seen this video, then you MUST click here!

Baseball fever has struck at In-Sync Exotics!  On Wednesday, Chance demonstrated his athletic abilities in a fun video of Jasper and Chance!  Even if you don't like baseball, you'll love this adorable video of the two bobcats!  Click here to meet our new ball player!

We posted a long overdue Who Am I animated picture of a beautiful cougar!  We asked our loyal viewing audience to guess the identity of our cougar and to answer two questions about this adorable cat.

Well, right off the bat, one of In-Sync Exotics' board directors, Helen Truman, submitted the correct response!  Needless to say, she has the edge over many of our faithful readers, as she gets to see this lovely cougar often!

Then we received two more responses, literally one right after the other, from Cherokee K and Scott S, again, with the correct response!  Both individuals have bragging rights for giving the correct response, however, only Scott will receive the prize since he provided us with his address!  Congratulations Cherokee and Scott for guessing the identity of our cougar:

So here are the answers to the questions about Cherokee:

#1: When I first arrived, I had a pronounced limp. What was the cause of my limp?
Answer:  Botched declawing job done with a pair scissors.

#2: What is my favorite toy?
Answer: She loves to play with her balls and dangling toys.

To learn more about Cherokee and the rest of the residents of In-Sync Exotics, please click hereWe'd like to thank everyone who particpated in yesterday's Who Am I!  Remember, don't be shy, submit your answer, and who knows, next time, you might be the one with bragging rights as the person who correctly identified our mystery animal!

You don't have to have a google account to use the comment box below.  You can submit your response using the "annoymous" feature--just be sure to include your name!

And now, it's time to present you with progress pictures of the "Fast Track Habitat" for our cheetahs, Kodi and Sam!

Wonderful progress!

The cheetahs are going to love this large habitat!

It's really beginning to look like a habitat area!

You can even see the lockout areas taking shape!

We cannot thank everyone enough for donating towards the cheetahs' new home!  As you can see, your gifts truly make a difference in the lives of our animals.  We strive to be good stewards of your contributions; working hard to make a positive impact on the lives of the animals under our care!  Again, thank you for your kind and generous financial support!

Before closing, we wanted to give you an update on our Big Birthday Bash!  We are currently looking for a snow cone and hot dog vendors that would like to partner with us on our big day!  If you are a snow cone or hot dog vendor or if you know of a snow cone/hot dog vendor that would be interested in participating in our Big Birthday Bash, please contact Vicky Keahey at (972) 442-6888 or email her HERE

Birthday Bash!
Oh, and don't forget--our big and small cats would love a birthday present from you this year!  You can find some great birthday gifts ideas from our Amazon "wish list" site.  Please click HERE for suggested birthday gifts!  So far, we have only received about three presents for over 50 wild cats!  Can you help make an exotic cat very happy this year?  Most of the Easter balls presented to the cats in April have been "well used" and are no longer serviceable!  It's amazing how much fun our cats can get out of their toys!  We thank you for your kind donations towards our animals' enrichment program!

Well, that concludes this posting!  We hope that you have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend!  Please take a moment to remember those soldiers who gave their lives so we could live free in a Nation with boundless opportunities!  Let's also salute the hard working military canines as they true heroes!  Miliary working dogs are truly amazing animals who perform extremely dangerous duties all around the globe!  We are truly blessed to have such hard working dogs caring for our soldiers!

We are open this Memorial Day weekend for tours, to include Monday (May 28th)!!  So bring the family and spend a special day with the animals of In-Sync Exotics!
